Step 3: Import your photo into Illustrator Just tap the ellipsis icon at the bottom right corner of the saved image, tap “Share Shape,” and then tap “Share To…” Once the image is saved, I can send it from my phone to my laptop by email, text, or with AirDrop. Tap “Crop” and drag the bounding box in from the corners. Next, I use my finger to erase any distracting background elements and objects that won’t be part of the final illustration.
